What BoostWP is, who makes the plugins, and what you get when you download from us.
BoostWP.com went live in 2013 as a home for WordPress plugins. One thing has changed since the early days: good plugins shouldn't depend on how much you can spend, so anyone with a free account can download what we make. Not every plugin is equal, mind. Welcome Splash is the oldest and the plainest of the set. Boost Updater is the one we run on every site of our own.
Today that's 21 plugins and the versions we've kept since 2013, with Boost Updater to keep them current.
What We Stand For
Four things you can hold us to. If one of them isn't true for you, open a ticket and say so.
Original Files Only
The zip on the plugin page is the one we built. We don't touch it after that.
Every Version Kept
Each release has a changelog, and older versions stay up so members can roll back when they need to.
No Licence Keys
Install a plugin and it works, on as many sites as you like. The one thing that asks for your account is Boost Updater, once, so it knows whose updates to fetch.
Free Means Free
A free account costs nothing and we don't take a card, so there's nothing to be charged for later.
Why It Costs Nothing

Our plugins use the GPL, the same open-source licence as WordPress. Anyone can use the code, change it and pass it on.
The code. Put it on as many sites as you like, edit it to suit you and keep every copy you download.
Our time. Priority support and automatic updates through Boost Updater are what membership pays for.
